Jean-Sebastien Rossbach is an award winning Concept artist and illustrator specializing in Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Gothic Horror...
J.S. is the co-author of Merlin, an ambitious 120 pages artbook about the legendary wizard published by Soleil editions.
He's known for having illustrated the covers of Dan Simmons's Hyperion series, George R. R. Martin's A Game of Throne, Robin Hobb's Royal Assassin and around a hundred more novel covers now.
After collaborating on a handful of video games (Dark Messiah, Prince of Persia, Beowulf), he worked with Blur studio on the forthcoming sequel of the animated film Heavy Metal.
JS now works for prestigious clients among which are Marvel, Top Cow, Warner Home Video, Ubisoft, Wizard of the Coast, Blizzard, Wizkids, Tor Books, SEAT, EMI and many others around the globe.
A former musician, Rossbach keeps a love for music artists and regularly creates artworks for bands such as Job for a Cowboy and Mortiis.
His art is published on a regular basis in anthologies like Spectrum, got 3 awards in Exposé and got recognition in many magazines, from France to USA, Poland to China, to Germany...
